Harpers Nest

We made it through the weekend!  We have more new pictures you will want to check out on the flickr page or the harpers nest photos page!  The harvest carnival at church was postponed from the weekend before Halloween to this past weekend due to the air quality from the fires here in So. CA.  So on Saturday we got to dress Zaida up and take her to the church to show off her cuteness!  On the way to the carnival Steve made a detour to the airport and we picked my mom up!  She flew in for Zaida's dedication on Sunday morning (a surprise to me!).  She should be boarding her plane to fly home as I write this!  We dressed Zaida up as a pumpkin - she is in the T-shirt I wore last Halloween!  We had fun walking around with her and seeing everyone's reactions!  She really did look extremely cute!!  And then we got up early on Sunday so we could all make it to the church on time and we dedicated Zaida.  Our friends Chris & Vicki were there along with my co-worker, Lynette, and her family.  And I was very excited that Debbie (daycare) and some of her family were able to make it since Zaida spends a good portion of her week with them!  Then my mom got to hang out with Zaida all day on Monday…I think she enjoyed it!!!
