Harpers Nest

We're at 30 weeks this week and we had our latest visit with the OB-GYN today.  Her name is Dr. Kaminskas and she's great.  Everything is going very well right now.  Nalaina's blood pressure is perfect and her belly is 29" in diameter.  Dr. Kaminskas says mom and baby are both perfectly healthy & the baby is very active & on the smaller side of average, which Nalaina was glad to hear.  The smaller the better, she says.  Nalaina's weight gain is also right on target and Dr. Kaminskas is very pleased about that.  The baby is in the right position, with her head down.  Of course, this means that her feet are in one of Nalaina's ribs and her arms are in another one, making Nalaina pretty uncomfortable when the baby decides to stretch, which is pretty much all the time. 

We will continue to go back to the doctor every two weeks until 36 weeks, then every week after that until the baby comes.
